Responsibilities:
- Implement age-appropriate lesson plans for children in the early childhood education setting
- Provide a safe and nurturing environment for children to learn and grow
- Foster social, emotional, cognitive, and physical development through engaging activities
- Use effective classroom management techniques to promote positive behavior
- Assess and monitor children's progress and provide feedback to parents or guardians
- Collaborate with other teachers and staff to create a cohesive learning environment
- Maintain a clean and organized classroom
Qualifications:
- Special education experience or training is a plus
- Previous experience working with preschool-aged children is highly desired, but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to create a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Knowledge of child welfare and safety guidelines
- Ability to adapt teaching methods to accommodate different learning styles
